SURGERY PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

ARRIVAL

Sign in at the surgery center patient drop-off reception desk

If you have a fever or recent exposure to COVID-19, please let us know as soon as possible

PLEASE BRING
-
Fill your prescriptions before the day of surgery and bring them with you

DO NOT
-
Eat or drink anything after midnight on the evening before surgery
-
This includes ANY food, drinks, water, or alcohol
-

Please leave all valuable items at home
-

WHAT TO WEAR
-
Wear a button-down or zipper front top and elastic waist pants. Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.

We recommend that you also bring TED hose for added comfort during your procedure

TRANSPORTATION
-
Make sure you have a responsible adult to drive you home
-
You cannot drive for 48 hours after discharge

NIGHT BEFORE SURGERY
-
Do not wear any deodorant, lotion, conditioner, or make-up day of surgery. Please take a shower the night before surgery using an antibacterial soap such as plain orange dial soap

ANESTHESIA CARE
-
Your anesthesiologist will call you before surgery, and you will have a chance to discuss any medical conditions or concerns related to anesthesia at this time.
